Get ready for a big dose of Cape Breton with this double-header of a show! The Men of the Deeps opened our festival last year as only they can and we’re still talking about it – we simply had to have them back. North America's only coal miners chorus first founded in 1966, they have become a staple in Cape Breton’s story and sound. The four-piece powerhouse band, Còig has quickly emerged as one of Atlantic Canada's premiere traditional groups, and one of Cape Breton’s great exports around the world. Busy with new album work, tours, and multiple award nominations, we’re thrilled they’re able to fit the festival into their schedule. We can’t wait for what this afternoon will entail.
